Kahala Beach

Kahala Beach is located approximately four to five miles east of Waikiki, just beyond Diamond Head.

Parking and our designated meeting point is the Waialae Beach Park parking lot, from which we'll walk approximately 150-200 yards along the beach to select ceremony sites. The majority of the beach features firm sand, making for a straightforward and accessible walk. Note: Let us know if you or any of your guests are mobility challenged.

We typically conduct ceremonies on the grassy areas beneath the shade of the coconut trees, which provides favorable lighting for photography. However, if preferred, we can also accommodate requests to hold the ceremony on the sand, closer to the water's edge.

To ensure an unobstructed experience and the best lighting conditions for photographs, we recommend scheduling ceremonies before or  at 10:00 AM, as these times tend to be the least crowded and parking is available without a problem most days.

Mid-morning and afternoon times are possible but, parking availability becomes increasingly limited as the day progresses consequently, we suggest you and your guests be being dropped off rather than driving.

Best days are Monday to Friday, weekends are very busy with park visitors and we limit ceremonies to morning times.
