Oahu Dream Weddings: Enchanting Ceremonies at Magic Island

Magic Island, situated within Ala Moana Beach Park and in close proximity to Waikiki, is approximately a 10 to 15-minute drive, contingent upon your hotel's location and current traffic conditions.

The area is known for its picturesque scenery, making it an excellent location for photography, and it is fully accessible for individuals with disabilities. Ample parking is available from Monday to Thursday; however, the demand increases on Friday afternoons.

Our preferred location for sessions is a grassy area approximately 200 yards along the paved sidewalk from the parking lot, situated against the jetty and ocean. This location offers a striking view of the ocean, Waikiki, and Diamond Head.

For optimal conditions, we recommend scheduling sessions from Monday to Friday late afternoon. Saturday mornings and if Sunday, morning or sunset. Other times are notably congested with weekend visitors.

Scheduling Monday to Friday during early afternoon hours is feasible, but late afternoon, specifically from 4 PM to one hour prior to sunset, offers the best lighting conditions. Morning sessions are possible; however, participants may experience glare due to the sun’s position above or behind them, with mid-morning presenting slightly improved lighting circumstances.
