Oahu Dream Weddings: Waialae-Kahala Beach Ceremony Expertise

Waialae/Kahala Beach is located approximately four to five miles east of Waikiki, just beyond Diamond Head.

Our designated meeting point is the Waialae Beach Park parking lot, from which we'll walk approximately 200 yards along the beach to select optimal locations for the ceremony. The majority of the beach features firm sand, making for a straightforward and accessible walk.

We typically conduct ceremonies on the grassy areas beneath the shade of the coconut trees, which provides favorable lighting for photography. However, if preferred, we can also accommodate requests to hold the ceremony on the sand, closer to the water's edge.

To ensure an unobstructed experience and the best lighting conditions for photographs, we recommend scheduling ceremonies before or  at 10:00 AM, as these times tend to be the least crowded.

Mid-morning and afternoon times are also work fine but, please note that parking availability becomes increasingly limited as the day progresses consequently, we suggest you and your guests be being dropped off rather than driving on your own.

Best days are Monday to Friday, weekends are busy with park visitors and limited to morning times.
