Waimanalo Beach is an impressive four-mile stretch of pristine white sand, characterized by its azure waters and breathtaking vistas in both directions. Located approximately 40 minutes from Waikiki, this beach has consistently been recognized as the premier beach in the United States.
The unique geometry and orientation of the beach, surrounding mountains, and nearby islands create unparalleled visual compositions found nowhere else in Hawaii. For optimal lighting conditions, we recommend visiting in the morning, ideally between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. During weekdays, the beach tends to be relatively uncrowded, while weekends are often not advisable for those seeking a tranquil experience.
Regrettably, public access to the beach has been restricted by the City in recent years. However, permits for beach weddings through the State of Hawaii continue to be available for Waimanalo Beach. As a result, we are required to utilize a private access route to the beach, which incurs a additional fee payable to the property owner. Additionally, due to the extra travel time involved, a vendor travel fee will also apply.
